Picassomania – a chance to buy a Picasso original online at auction

Auction house Bonhams is holding a 'Picassomania' sale which includes artworks by Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) including ceramics, prints and photographs.

The March 23 sale in London features 100 lots “showcasing the full diversity of his oeuvre”.

Lucia Tro Santafe, head of sale at Bonhams, said: “Picasso is rightly one of the most celebrated artists of the 20th century, and Picassomania showcases the full diversity of his oeuvre – and his versatility as an artist. It includes all mediums, from ceramics and prints, through to unique works on paper and photographs.”

The top lot of the Bonhams sale is 'Visage de Faune', a 22-carat gold repoussé plate, which has an estimate of £250,000-350,000.
