Maurizio Nobile Fine Art (Italy and France) will be showing a classic still-life in pencil by Giorgio Morandi (1890-1964). It measures 9½ x 13½in (24.5 x 34cm) is signed and dated Morandi 1948 lower centre and is priced at €70,000.
Among the Italian Old Masters will be a 10 x 11in (25 x 28cm) ink and chalk drawing from c.1653-4 by the Italian baroque artist Ciro Ferri (1634-89) who was a pupil of Pietro da Cortona. It depicts a classical scene showing Gaius Fabricius Luscinus refusing the gifts of Pyrrhus and is priced at €10,000 by Artur Ramon Art from Barcelona.
